Clarence Seedorf returned to the pitch today for the first time since leaving AC Milan. Seedorf’s performance for Suriprofs (a group of professional footballers with roots in Suriname) against mediocre Dutch outfit Groningren was no short of magisterial, bagging a couple goals and creating many more chances. He showed exactly why he has been an important facet of some of the worlds biggest clubs and I sincerely hope that someone picks him up this Summer, too good to just fade away.
